Michaela Delmonte

The 2015 Swing Patrol Legend of the Year, Michaela is loved and admired throughout the swing dance scene for her great teaching, brilliant dancing and calm and nurturing spirit. You will often see her flying through the air as one of London’s strongest aerialists or teaching the skill to others at an aerials workshop. Michaela has been a member of three performance troupes in her time – the Rhythm Rascals, the Skyliners and the Dixie Dinahs, and she now works alongside Cat Foley and Ben Cook coaching the Skyliners. Michaela has been teaching at Brixton for nearly four years and proudly says she has “the best students in the world”. She is constantly inspired and impressed with the time and dedication the Brixton students put into their dancing – and it definitely shows in their Performance Ball routines! Michaela also teaches at Brixton Bounce, which she finds to be a fantastic environment for South London dancers to come together, practice and ask questions. You might also find her at Boogaloo Bounce every now and then too! Approachable, funny, talented and funky, we are super proud to have Michaela on the Swing Patrol teaching team.
