Join us for our beginners dance night, Swing Den, right across the road from Liverpool Street Station. Each Swing Den will feature a taster lesson for everyone at the start of the night followed by social dancing until 11pm!

What is a Swing Den?

Well, we all know what it’s like when you first venture onto the social dance floor and it can be a bit daunting to see all the experts swinging out all over the shop while you’re still finding your social feet. So we came up with the Swing Den idea, a social dance especially for beginners (though everyone is welcome) where the music is not too fast or slow, a taster lesson at the start and two teachers who will stay all night and answer your questions or to practice your moves with.

Swing dance at the Bishopsgate Institute you say?

Yes indeed we do! Our venue will be the wonderful Bishopsgate Institute. We’ve frequented the Bishopsgate Institute on a regular basis over the years and we’re really excited to get to spend more time in this wonderful venue. There is a pop-up bar available, please don’t bring your own food and drink into the venue. Water bottles are allowed and free drinking water is available.
