Join Cat and Dave for a lesson or two in Swing Dancing. What is Swing Dancing? It’s a collection of dances from the 1920s-1940s including Lindy hop and Charleston. Read more about it here.
Class
Level 1 – Absolute beginners class | 7pm – 8pm
A drop in beginners class — anyone can attend any time. No partner required. We cover all the basics from scratch (20s Charleston, 30s Charleston, 6 and 8 count Lindy Hop).
Level 1.5 – Intermediate class | 8.15pm – 9.15pm
A class for improver dancers who are wanting to move on from the basics and learn more about musicality, lead/follow technique, rhythm, etc… If you have some experience of 6 and 8 count Lindy Hop and some Charleston then you should definitely think about jumping in.
