Tina Davis & Don West
Tina Davis has been dancing Swing, Lindy Hop and Blues since 1999, first in Florida and now in her current home of Dallas, Texas. Tina started teaching Blues and Lindy in 2007 and has taught at events large and small in Dallas, Austin, Atlanta, San Francisco, Chicago, Wichita, Minneapolis, Boston, Virginia Beach and Canada. Tina has competed in various competitions, most notably winning the Solo Blues Competition at Enter the Blues 2009, the Jack n' Jill competition at Blues Shout in 2007 and placing as a JnJ Finalist at Emerald City Blues Festival 2009. In addition to teaching, Tina is a sought after DJ, and has also organized several Lindy and Blues events in Florida and Texas.
Don West has been dancing since 1997 and teaching since 2000, first starting in Dallas and continuing in his current home of Miami, Florida. He’s been in a number of dance troupes including Smiley’s Lindy Hoppers and Uptown Swing; and was also the founder of the Madcap Maniacs, and the creative director for the ACME Swing Company. Don was also the 2000 American Lindy Hop Championships Jack and Jill Champion as well as first place winner in several competitions in Austin and Houston. In addition to teaching, Don is a sought after event MC, has served as co-organizer for Lone Star Championships in 2008, and was brought into Chicago as an artist in residence in July 2010.
Since joining up in July 2007, Tina and Don have spread their love of dance throughout the U.S. (and Canada!) teaching at events like Blues Shout (Chicago & Austin), Austin Blues Party, Blues Boot Camp (Dallas), Enter the Blues (Atlanta), Down Home Blues Shout (San Francisco), Sweet Molasses Blues (Boston), MezzJelly Blues Weekend (Waterloo, Canada) and at a week-long stint in Minneapolis in October 2008. In their classes, Tina and Don like to emphasize sound fundamentals, the basics of rhythm, partnership in social dancing and love of the music. But most of all, dancing has just got to be fun.

Eden
Eden arrived on the dance floor in 2004. After exposure to various Latin styles, she delved into social dancing with the local Swing and Salsa scenes. Her journey into blues dancing came by the alluring way of late night jazz clubs and inner city blues bars. Then, wishing to expand her vocabulary and explore new ways of movement, she drifted into Ballroom Dancing. The following years were spent zigzaging across a map of dance styles, tasting the elements offered by each, and using contrast to deepen her knowledge about all that it means to dance. In 2008 she discovered Argentine Tango, which quickly became an addiction. Today, she continues to explore different dance forms, seeking always to further her ability and attune herself ever more with the music.
Kavita Kaul
Kavita Kaul is a respected presence on the London dance floor.
With over ten years experience she was one of the first people to bring the blues vibe to London town. With a love of the music, the atmosphere and the movement of blues, her enthusiasm and energy is infectious. Her classes are fun, focused and free spirited and will leave you itching to grab a partner. Breaking down the most complicated concepts into bite-sized chunks she makes sure everyone leaves her class with something new each time.
Chris Härm
Chris has been a pioneer lead in the Australian Blues dancing scene. Teaching workshops, inspiring dancers and creating the first Australian Blues weekend he is excited to bring his unique skill set and perspective on the dance to Blues Baby Blues.
Putting the partner rapport at the heart of every dance to enable characters in the music to come to life through your dancing. Keep your eyes open for some amazing tricks, sexy hips as this mad scientist of blues hits the floor.
Scott Cupit
Scott is the founder of the Book Club Blues and has a passion for sharing Blues around East London. Has loved Blues for years and can listen to blues music for days on end.
Scott doesn't compete much these days but jumped into the D Jam Blues competition with Pippa Tooher this year and came away with the first place trophy.
Scott's aim is to have Blues recognised as the amazing dance style it is and has a teaching style that ensure Blues is represented well and taught with solid technique and always with joy and great music.
Pippa Tooher
Pippa has been Swing dancing for nearly 8 years and dancing Blues for over 5 years. Her passion for Blues dancing was cemented during her time living in Philadelphia USA where she was able to attend some amazing Blues workshops. During this time Pippa was able to gain instruction from some of the leading Blues Dancers from the USA. This year she competed and placed first with Scott Cupit in a Strictly Blues Competition at DJam and second in a Blues Jack and Jill at Sweet Molasses Blues in Boston. Pippa is extremely passionate about her Blues Dancing and has an understanding of the dance that she loves to share through her teaching. Pippa believes that Blues classes should be fun and that dancing Blues provides dancers with an opportunity to truly express themselves on the dance floor.
