Charleston for Beginners!

Hello everyone! Here's a quick summary of our classes at Angel:

7:00pm - Total Beginners swing dancing class - £8 for the hour!
You don't need to know ANY swing dancing, and you can come whenever you like, as we teach the basics every week as well as some fun things to do with it!

8:00pm - Stay and have a dance! - FREE
We loved have many of you stay and dance last week, so it's the same this time around... We'll put the music on, you get to dance with your fellow class-mates and practice anything you like! We'll be around to help with any questions, so please ask us for a dance!!

Bring any friends down who you think might like it, we love to meet new people! Remember, we teach the basic steps every week...

Coming up Monday 8th March:
We start with the basic 1930's Charleston step, then we've got some cool ways to move your Charleston around the floor. Ben & Janet have also been working on a super fun way to change partners so be sure to come along!

Coming up Monday 15th March:
While still teaching the 1930's Charleston from scratch (all welcome!) we will also give you some tips to 'funk' it up and really get it swinging. Also in the class we have Jig Walks, Big Kicks and more!

Coming up Monday 22nd March:
**NEW RHYTHM!** We introduce Angel to Lindy Hop! That's right, the heart and soul of swing is coming to the Florence with 6-Beat Lindy Hop. This dance inspired so many other dance styles like Jive, Ceroc, Rock and Roll, West Coast Swing, Modern Jive, Boogie Woogie and the Swedish Bugg! Come and see what all the fuss is about... :-)
