Tuesday is the perfect night to start... or re join!

A quick reminder that on Tuesday March 2nd the classes start over as follows:

This Tuesday:
7.00pm - 8.00pm   Teaching the uber cool hand to hand charlestons.. opening night of this class.
8.00pm - 9.00pm   Level 2 Eight Beat Lindy Hop class. All those who want to work on eight beat Lindy Hop. So many of you should move up to this class.


Some questions you have had:

Which class should I do?
It's entirely up to you. You will learn a lot from both but the 8.15pm class will be a "Level 2 " class and as a result work on the harder rhythm being the eight beat Lindy Hop.

What if I have just come two or three times already?
If you found the eight beat learning easy you could try the Level 2 class but the 7.00pm class would be perfect for you as you won't have done any charleston rhythm yet.

Can I do both classes?
Absolutely and you get completely different learning in both hours.  You can always do a second class in an evening for half price. Just let our lovely door lady Marion know what you are doing.

Can we social dance and when?
Yes.. after the 7pm class dancing will happen on the other side of the bar and again after the 8pm class. We are even burning some new CDs so you have a bigger range of music!!

8-hour Dance Marathon for charity

Hi Guys,
For anyone who is free this Saturday Swing Patrol have been invited to teach at a Dance for charity
Marathon at Hoxton Hall in Shoreditch.
We have a one hour slot from 6:45pm to 7:45pm so pop down for a dance or simple come to support the charity.
Headway Charities  have a media volunteer who is preparing to send a press release to Hackney and East London newspaper on Monday after the event  so you may strike front page of the paper on Monday ; )
